I recently got a 3 year working visa. I would like to go from full time to part time. Will doing that have any deterimental side effect to my visa status at all? The reason I want to do it is to then pursue other part time jobs so as to get paid more overall.

Has anyone done this? I don't want to jeopardise my visa though. Looking forward to hearing from someone. Thankyou...

You should be ok in doing that. Once you got your visa theres not really a lot to stop you quiting or reducing hours. Just maybe when it comes time to renew it there may be questions but I think lots of people here in Japan do it. Sounds good.
