| I am Joan Lestor, a Filipino and currently residing in Japan. I fully understand the concerns regarding the issue about my being a native speaker or not, I believe I am, since my entire education from kindergarten to college was entirely in English, a total of fourteen years. At college I received a BSc in Liberal Arts, majoring in English literature. My entire working life has been in English, at a bank in Manila and in Japan teaching English as well as doing market research at the company where I currently work part time. I can also speak and teach other Filipino Dialects such as Tagalog and Cebuano. |
